Dr. Kris See

Global Adjunct Fellow 

Dr Kris See is the Medical Director, Chief Clinical and Innovative Scientist of Osel Group, a private healthcare organisation with an extensive presence in therapeutics and collaborative innovative research in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore and US. Under Dr Kris’ leadership, Osel Diagnostic Lab was the first to be conferred the prestigious “Asian Halal Brands Awards” in ASEAN. Although a medical professional with a background in neurosurgery by training, Dr Kris also holds a Master of Science in International Public Health, (Liverpool John Moores University, UK), Master of Artificial Intelligence, (IUBH University of Applied Sciences, Germany) and HMS- SEAL, Harvard University, USA.

In 2017, Dr Kris was appointed to the faculty of The Frontier Medicine Institute, a leading advocate of healthcare innovations which build bridges between education and healthcare moving into The Fifth Industrial Revolution and beyond. Dr Kris is also the editor-in-chief for The Frontier Medical Journal, an open-access peer-reviewed journal. Till date, Dr Kris has published notable scientific works both domestically and internationally.

Dr Kris is a recipient of the Malaysia “Top 100 Most Influential Young Entrepreneur” award (2017), Malaysia “Top 100 Most Influential Sustainable Entrepreneur” (2018) by United Nations Global Impact, a subsidiary of United Nations Organization, as well as “JCI Peace Angel Award Malaysia” (2018) for his role in transformative work in Nepal Earthquake Relief Program. In 2019, Dr Kris was inducted as an ASEAN Youth Fellow 2019, chaired by National Youth Council, Singapore. In 2020, Dr Kris was named as one of the 25 Leading Lights in Southeast Asia, an award which celebrates kind leaders for their contributions to business, the economy and society, partnered by Saïd Business School, University of Oxford and Financial Times and supported by Asia Square Tower One.

Dr Kris believes that one of the greatest obstacles to achieve progression of society is Poverty. To this, he regularly advocates and supports financial literacy amongst youths in the society. For his efforts, he was nominated to the Vice-Chairman post of Malaysia Literacy in Financial Education (myLIFE) in 2019 – an NGO which advocates financial education and literacy and aims to eradicate poverty amongst the lower-income group and youths in Malaysia Nation.

Dr Kris is immensely passionate about empowering youths in education and healthcare as he firmly believes “Youths of A Nation Are Leaders of Tomorrow”. He is frequently invited to give keynote speeches both domestically and internationally. In his free time, he contributes to various charitable organizations both within Malaysia and overseas.

He considers himself a regional citizen who divides his time between Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Singapore, JB, Hong Kong, China and Japan, USA and England.
